POSTERIOR LUMBAR SYSTEM
Pic a / Pic 1 - Advanced Lumbar Fixation Technologies
LUMBAR STABILIZATION
Superior Posterior Lumbar Stabilization
Our Posterior Lumbar pedicle screw system offers uncompromised strength and intuitive intraoperative flexibility.
- Manufactured from implant-grade Titanium (ISO 13485).
- Color-coded tulip heads for rapid screw diameter identification.
- Low-profile screw heads minimize anatomical interference.
- Tested at leading USA universities to ASTM standards.
System Specifications & Architecture
Comprehensive options for Monoaxial, Polyaxial, and Pathology Specific requirements.
MONOAXIAL SCREWS
- Generous cancellous buttress threads and tapered core for maximum fixation.
- One piece titanium design for maximum strength.
- Simple fast insertion where Variable Axis Screw is not required.
- Cutting Flutes 180° apart enhance self tapping.
- Spondylolisthesis reduction screws for difficult anatomical pathology.
- Sizes: 4 to 9 mm diameters, 25 - 55 mm lengths.
POLYAXIAL SCREWS
- Same core features as monoaxial, plus variable axis positioning.
- Patented design knurl machining locks the screw axis into position.
- Color coded body for easy diameter identification.
- Sizes: 4 to 9 mm diameters, 25 - 55 mm lengths.
PATHOLOGY SPECIFIC
GPS HD (Heavy Duty): 20% increase in cross sectional area.
GPS Standard: Standard robust thread profile.
GPS DC (Deep Cut): Cancellous thread increases purchase in osteoporotic bone.
ROD OPTIONS
Precurved Rod: Reduces Surgical Time.
Standard 6 mm Rod
Low Profile Rod: For increased surface contact.
REDUCTION SCREWS
Heavy wall thickness allows aggressive side loading.
Snap off groove allows tool to cleanly break away top body when rod is seated and secured.
MARKSMAN PRODUCT FEATURES
- Set Screw design prevents cross threading or slippage.
- Internal 4 mm hex, utilizes same instruments as the pedicle screw.
- Double lead thread for faster insertion & Tapered inner core.
- Locking collar design reduces torque loading and allows adjustment.
- Minimum tulip profile reduces muscle dead space scar tissue.
- Polyaxial, top loading locks angle when final torque is applied.
- Two self tapping flutes 180° apart allow balanced self-centering.
FENESTRATED SCREW
- Sizes: 5.5 mm and 6.5 mm sizes available.
- Placement: Cannulation for optimal guided placement.
- Delivery: Fenestrations distally for saline or radiopaque dye delivery.
Warning: The safety and effectiveness of this device have not been established when used in conjunction with bone cement or for use in patients with poor bone quality (e.g., osteoporosis). Intended only for use with saline or radiopaque dye.
